Chelsea Transfer News: Rafa Benitez Already Looking for Another Job, with Mourinho Expected to Replace Spaniard at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea interim manager Rafa Benitez admitted he is already looking around for a new job for next season, once his contract at Stamford Bridge comes to an end.

Benitez is not expected to be offered a new contract by the Chelsea hierarchy, despite doing a pretty good job since taking over from Roberto Di Matteo.

The fact that the Spaniard is still not liked by the Chelsea fans has in the end played a big part in his impending departure, with crowd favorite Jose Mourinho expected to take over the reins in the summer.

Having already secured a place in next season's Champions League, Benitez will now look to win Chelsea the Europa League title on Wednesday, but plans for next year have already begun with gusto.

"It is started already, the agents are working," he said. "My job is to concentrate on the games, my agent is talking around.

"The Premier League is a fantastic league, my family still live in England so it would be easier but if not I will go abroad.

"I have no problem with Spanish, Italian, French (leagues).

"I was on holiday for nearly two years (before Chelsea). I want another job.

"The priority is still England but if you cannot find a club maybe you have to go abroad."

Benitez insisted his next job would depend on the type of project, hinting it would have to be an interesting one for him to give the final nod.

"When I was not working, some people said 'he cannot get a job' but I had a lot of offers," he added.

"But you are looking for a top side or for a proper project to build something.

"There are two options for the future -- to get a project, two or three years to build a team like at Liverpool.

"Or maybe a top side with money where you can buy some players and maybe be challenging for trophies from the beginning.

"I'm sure we will have offers. We already have some clubs asking, but it depends on the level or the project."

Benitez has been linked with the job at Real Madrid, Monaco and even Everton, with David Moyes set to take over at Manchester United following the decision of Sir Alex Ferguson to retire.
