Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Boston Bruins Score: Updates of Game 7, Win or Go Home for Both Teams

The Boston Bruins host the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 of their first round Eastern Conference matchup. This is it. Winner takes all. If you can't watch or listen to the live acion, we provide a link with live scoring updates of this matchup.

This is the first of two Game 7's going down Monday evening as the New York Rangers and Washington Capitals face off for their "win or go home" game. However, the Leafs and the Bruins skate first as their game is set to take off at 7 p.m. ET. Here are a couple of numbers fans should look at and interpret to their liking.

According to ESPN, 51.7 percent of the time, the team to lead the best of seven series 3-2 winds up advancing. Now the math on the reverse, 48.3 percent of the teams who trailed 2-3 in their series, win the series to advance to the next round.

What does this tell us?

This matchup is in the air. It is anybody's game in Boston as the Bruins look to avoid losing their third straight game after taking a 3-1 lead in the series. Toronto has won the last two games 2-1 stealing both matchups and remaining alive in the playoffs. The Bruin team arrived a little later to Boston after their plane was reported to have some mechanical issues. Better late than sitting on a plan with mechanical issues.

This should not be an excuse for them to lose this game. Expect the Bruins to come out playing hard as the Maple Leafs will match their intensity.
