Arsenal will be desperate for three points to keep themselves on course for a Champions League place for next season, but face a tough test in their English Premier League game against Wigan.

The Latics will be buoyed by the F.A. Cup final victory over Manchester City and will look to carry forward that momentum against Arsenal, in what is an absolute must-win game for them.

Roberto Martinez's men are currently four points adrift of safety and nothing but a win will do if they are to stay up -- due to their vastly inferior goal difference, even a draw might not be enough to keep them from being relegated to the Championship.

"They had a contrasting week because they were on a low against Swansea when they lost at home, a game that was a massive game for them," Wenger told reporters. "But you could see on Saturday that they have quality and played a remarkable game against Manchester City.

"What kind of team will we face? We don't know. We know just one thing -- we want to be at our best in a game of that importance. It doesn't worry me especially because I know (Wigan) have quality. Having said that, it is a surprise that they are in the position that they are in the league.

"They produced a remarkable game on Saturday and played absolutely remarkably well on both flanks. They defended very well and they kept Man City very quiet for a big part of the game."

Arsenal are on an eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League and Wenger is confident his side have the quality to come away with the two victories needed in the final two games of the season to seal a top-four place.

"They are important games but that's what you want to play for," he said. "Two months ago we had no chance to be where we are today so we can only be happy with what we have done.

"Two months ago our destiny was not in our hands. Today it is so we have done very well, so now let's finish the job and continue to play like we have done and take the points."

Arsenal will be without the suspended Olivier Giroud, while Jean Beausejour, Ronnie Stam and Adrian Lopez are ruled out for Wigan.
