The NBA Playoffs 2013 rages on Tuesday night with some exciting conference matchups as the Golden State Warriors take on the home team San Antonio Spurs out west, while out east the New York Knicks travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers.
The Warriors have the chance to take control over the series with a Game 5 win over the Spurs and will likely do so behind the leadership of guard Stephen Curry, who before Tuesday morning's shootaround was questionable with a sprained left ankle.
"Ready to go tonight," Curry said. "It feels a whole lot better than it did before Game 4, so that's all I could ask for."
Curry reiterated that he wasn't in the need of the usage of an anti-inflammatory injection, after stating Sunday about the swelling and pain he felt from it.
Though the Warriors will have Curry in their roster rotation Tuesday, the Knicks are now uncertain of the status of guard Iman Shumpert, who was suffering from swelling on his surgically-repaired left knee.
According to the New York Daily News, Shumpert did not attend the Knicks morning shootaround, leaving head coach Mike Woodson "concerned" that he may be without the team's best defensive player.
If Shumpert is unable to perform Tuesday fans will likely see Chris Copeland, James White or Jason Kidd as a replacement in his absence.
