NBA Playoff Schedule: No Game Friday, Action Resumes Saturday

The NBA Playoffs continue, not Friday, but Saturday. Unfortunately, there will be no basketball Friday evening. Had the Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder gone to Game 6, then their games would have more than likely been slotted for Friday evening. However, those series are over.

You can catch the New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers on Saturday evening and we'll bring that schedule tomorrow.

Right now, there are five teams alive in the playoffs. The Golden State Warriors, Thunder and Bulls are gone, leaving the Grizzlies, Heat, Knicks, Pacers and San Antonio Spurs as the final teams left in the 2013 NBA postseason. The Knicks and Pacers are still battling for final spot left in the Eastern Conference Finals where they will face the Heat.

Miami didn't breeze by the series as expected. The Bulls somehow found energy to give the Heat a fight. Chicago was gone in five games, but they should be proud of their effort. Who knows? When Derrick Rose returns next year and maybe if the Bulls make an addition, they could push the Heat to the brink and maybe even steal the conference title from Miami.

The Spurs finished putting the Warriors in six games as Golden State couldn't extend the series to a Game 7. The Warriors put up a great fight, but the Spurs' playoff savvy gave them advantage and they proved experience is key. It was a sloppy game at times and the Spurs gave way allowing the Warriors to get back into the matchup as they let go of a 13-point lead. However, Tony Parker hit two of his three shots in the game from beyond the arc in the closing minutes to secure the lead, victory and the series.
