NBA Playoff TV Schedule: No Basketball Friday, What to Watch Instead as Postseason Takes Brief Hiatus

There are no NBA games today. The playoffs are once again on a break and for just the second time since Apr. 20, the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers are the final teams left to complete the NBA Playoff bracket in the Conference Finals. That's right, we're now down from 16 teams to just five left in the playoffs.

The Knicks and Pacers are making it an odd situation, literally, as there are five teams alive in the postseason. Along with these two, the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies are still playing for the Larry O'Brien trophy. The Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder will not thrill us with a rematch though that's probably the matchup many had prognosticated for the 2013 Finals.

The Spurs will have a chance to get Tim Duncan his fifth championship ring. Duncan has been considered one of the greatest centers as his retirement looms, but will he now enter talks of the best of the best? Five championships is a feat and hey, he would match this generation's best player, Kobe Bryant.

Bored out of your mind because there's no basketball on your TV? Well here are a couple of things you can do.

1) If you're open to it, you can watch hockey. The Ottawa Senators face the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 p.m. ET.

2) Okay, so hockey isn't your cup of tea. There's baseball. A full sled of games. So you can tune into that.

3) So you want basketball? You can always tune into NBA TV where there's basketball 24 hours a day. You'd be lucky if the commercials don't relate to basketball. You can click here for their schedule.

This is a chance for so called "NBA Fans" to smarten up a bit on the future rookies as NBA TV will follow the Draft Combine and bring the latest updates and reports as the 2013 NBA Draft will take place a few days after the conclusion of the NBA Finals.
