NBA Playoffs 2013: Former Miami Heat Guard Predrag Danilovic Stabbed In Serbia As Ex-Dallas Mavericks Player Injured In Belgrade Fight

Former Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks star Predrag Danilovic was stabbed over the weekend in a fight in Serbia and was seriously injured, according to the Associated Press.

The report says that Danilovic was injured on early Saturday morning in a residential part of the city of Belgrade and was stabbed during a fight during the night. He needed an operation to treat a number of injuries to his arm, head and abdomen and is recovering. Danilovic is currently the general manager of the Serbian basketball team Partizan Belgrade and police did not give a reason for the fight.

Danilovic previously played for the Heat and the Mavericks from 1995-97 in the NBA.
