Tebowmania has made its way to New York City's Carnegie Deli, with the famed eatery dishing out the "Jetbow," a special sandwich in honor of new Jets quarterback Tim Tebow.

"He's the poster boy for every parent and what they want their kids to be," Carnegie Deli owner Sandy Levine told ESPN.com. "Very religious, very clean-cut, an outstanding student, he does charity work. What more do you want as an athlete than him?"

Tebow was introduced as the Jets backup quarterback at a news conference yesterday, where the humble Tebow said he and Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez can co-exist.

The Tebow sandwich, coined the "Jetbow," is 3 ½ pounds of corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, American cheese, lettuce and tomato with mayonnaise on white bread.

"We wanted to make it because he's that All-American kid, the picture of what every mother and father want their son and daughter to be in the United States," Levine said, according to ESPN.com.

Mayonnaise and white bread are not exactly Carnegie Deli staples, but Levine bent the rules because he said those ingredients plus the American cheese, roast beef, lettuce and tomato are symbols of Tebow's "All-American boy" persona, ESPN.com reported.
