50th Super Bowl Host Is San Francisco 49ers Levi’s Stadium For 2016 As Houston Texans Get 2017 Game, Miami Dolphins Left With Nothing After Bid Blows Up

The San Francisco 49ers will be the host for the 50th Super Bowl in 2016, having the game at their brand new billion dollar stadium in Santa Clara, giving the world a look at one of the most advanced sporting structures in the world.

NFL owners voted on Tuesday to bring the game to the West coast and after Miami lost that bid, it matched up with the Houston Texans, who will host Super Bowl LI in Texas in 2017. The bid by Miami was hurt by their inability to upgrade their stadium and now the team must look the the future to get another game after hosting 10 in the past.

San Francisco will host the 50th Super Bowl, in early 2016, the National Football League announced on Tuesday.

The NFL also awarded the 51st Super Bowl to Houston after team owners voted for the two cities ahead of a South Florida bid.
