French Open 2013 Schedule: Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer Ready For Major Starting Sunday May 26

The French Open is getting ready to start on Sunday and there are a number of players looking to win the major, as Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will all be favorites heading into Roland Garros this year.

Andy Murray and Juan Martin Del Potro will not be in the tournament after pulling out due to injury, while the weekend will have a number of exciting matches and matchups will be finalized on Friday when the bracket is released. The first day will have a number of matches on the outside courts as well as the main courts, with the first day having two men's and women's singles matches on each of the main courts and 10 of each on the outdoor courts.

The French Open is one of the most exciting majors in tennis and after dominating for years, Rafael Nadal will be looking to add another title to his trophy case after defeating Novak Djokovic last year. Serena Williams is entering the tournament on a career best winning streak and she will likely face off against Maria Sharapova, who won the tournament last year. Nadal will be going for his eighth and he has been playing fantastic since coming back from an injury to his knee last year.

Brian Baker and Mardy Fish will also miss the tournament, and Del Potro will be out for a respiratory virus while Murray is dealing with back issues. The second day of play will have 22 matches of each men's and women's on the outer courts and two of each on the main courts for the first round, which will also bleed into Tuesday play before the second round begins on Wednesday. The third round will be underway on Friday and Saturday, while the fourth will continue on Sunday before heading into the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

The women's finals will be on Saturday next week, while the men's singles finals will be on Sunday along with the women's doubles.
