The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers face off at 8:30 p.m. ET in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Looking for the channel to tune into the action? We have all you need to know as we bring you the Heat vs. Pacers Game 2 TV schedule.
You already know the tip off is a little after 8:30 p.m. ET and TNT will be the channel you will want to tune into as the Heat look to take a 2-0 lead in the series and the Pacers look to snatch home field advantage from Miami before going to Indiana for Game 3 of the series. Join Shaq, Ernie, Kenny and Charles for the TNT pregame, halftime and postgame reports as they will likely take some more time to pick Frank Vogel.
That's it though. It happened. Vogel messed up the Pacers' chances of winning. It's time to move on. The Pacers are tough and they will be ready to win tonight. The Heat are refocused and ready to win tonight. Game 1 is now in the past. The Heat should be scared. They couldn't run the ball and hit the touchdown passes down the court for their usually fast paced game. This might sound like the description to a football offense, but this is exactly how the Heat play basketball. LeBron James or Dwyane Wade run the floor and feed each other as they manage to get behind the defense.
Game 1 was all about the Pacers running the show and forcing the Heat to play halfcourt basketball. For 52 minutes of Game 1, the Pacers controlled the Heat's offense and avoided lobs and easy buckets in the paint. However, the Pacers did underestimate Chris Andersen's scoring abilities as he dropped 16 points on them going a perfect 7/7 from the field. The Heat drew Pacer bigs and Andersen found himself wide open for the jam or the easy layup.
The Heat are also used to hitting more threes, but they need Shane Battier and Ray Allen to take care of that. As we saw in the second round, the Pacers are a great three-point defending team, but there is only so much they can do as the Heat have great ball handlers who can penetrate defenses and create shots for themselves.
Game 2, it's the Heat vs. Pacers and it's on TNT. Tune in at 8:30 p.m. ET as this should be a great sequel to this great playoff matchup.
