Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: Kobe Bryant Gives Another Update On His Recovery, Mike D'Antoni Believes He'll Return Better Than Ever (Photos)

With so much worry about the future of Dwight Howard with the Los Angeles Lakers, on Saturday Kobe Bryant released a photo to give fans an update on how his recovery process from his torn Achilles is going.

Bryant posted a picture of his legs, with a caption that gave indication that he was participating in physical therapy exercises to help improve the strength in injured Achilles.

This has to be viewed as a good sign for the Lakers, as they'll need Bryant back as soon as possible. Achilles tears usually have a 6-9 month recovery process, and typically takes longer for the player to feel comfortable on that leg.

Although Bryant has a reputation of battling through tough injuries and embracing any new challenge thrown at him, the latest injury could bring an end to his career or at the very least take his name out of the discussion as a member of the elite class of players in the league.

Though much is against him right now, Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni believes Bryant will make a full recovery and return to form once he'll be able to get back on the floor for the Lakers next season.

D'Antoni may be blindly optimistic about the situation, but if there's anyone who can bounce back from an Achilles injury, it's Bryant.
