Tim Tebow Rumors: New England Patriots Perfect Fit For Quarterback As Star Gets Encouragement From Tony Dungy To Be Faithful On All Pro Dad (VIDEO)

Tim Tebow is a free agent and can sign with any NFL team, but so far he has been unable to get a legitimate offer from the league while also getting embarrassed with some of the ones he has received, but that has not stopped others from giving him encouragement, including former Colts coach Tony Dungy.

According to Bleacher Report, Dungy too his blog at All Pro Dad to write that Tebow needs to be patient and faithful and gave him some words of encouragement to get him through this tough time. Tebow was on top of the world over a year ago after leading the Denver Broncos to the playoffs and a division title after taking over the starting job from Kyle Orton and winning a game against the Steelers, but that all went away once he made it to the Jets.

The team traded for him and then decided to never use him in good spots, forcing him to bulk up and serve as a blocker primarily instead of actually getting him into the offense. The Jets season was a disaster and an embarrassment and Tebow ended up with zero touchdowns, 102 rushing yards and 39 passing yards and then was released for all his hard work. The Jets were a mess before they got him and Tebow is now better off, because he deserved to be treated better and the Jets basically screwed him by holding onto him until after the draft.

So far Tebow has only received offers from the Arena League, CFL, indoor football and the lingerie league, while the AFL one looks legit since it was from Ron Jaworski, co-owner of the Philly Soul. Tebow needs a situation where he can learn and grow, but the media hype has turned some teams off. The Jags wanted him last year and it seemed like a good fit, but after fans petitioned the White House and others took out ads asking for it, the team wants nothing to do with him. Tebow has won at every level he has been at, including in college, high school and the NFL. Tebow took over the starting job after the team went 1-4 under Orton and he helped turn things around and he was never given a chance to start with the Jets.

Dungy wrote that Tebow needs to have faith in his abilities and to be patient and let things play out for the right situation, because the good old good Lord God knows exactly what he is doing. Dungy wrote:

"I know Tim Tebow must be frustrated that he hasn't found the right team yet and is still searching," Dungy said. "Here's the advice I would give to Tim as he waits for his new team."

"Tim Tebow, I know, is really disappointed that he hasn't got it going and on a team, in a direction, knowing what locker room he is going to be in right now, but the advice I'd have for Tim is just to be patient, be faithful, the Lord has a good spot for you, He's going to give you the right situation."

Tim's a winner," Dungy said. "He's a guy that lifts his teammates. He lifts the spirits of any team that he's with."

"So my advice would be to just be patient, wait for the Lord to show you that right team and be ready to go."
