Joachim Low will take a new-look Germany side when they embark on a two-game trip to the U.S. starting with a match against Ecuador.
The Germany coach had to leave out most of the Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund players after their exertions in the Champions League final, with Bayern also set to face Stuttgart in the German Cup final on Saturday.
That means the German side will be without the likes of skipper Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Manuel Neuer, Mario Gomes, Mats Hummels, Mario Gotze and Marco Reus.
Real Madrid duo Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil have also been left out with the La Liga still not finished while Miroslav Klose has not been called up due to Lazio's exertions in the Italian Cup final against Roma last weekend. Arsenal duo Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski, however, do find a place in the lineup.
To make up for the missing players, Low has called up four uncapped players to his squad, namely Bayer Leverkusen duo Sidney Sam and Philipp Wollscheid, Nicolai Muller of Mainz and Freiburg's Max Kruse.
"International matches are always prestigious events," he said. "For the players we have nominated it is something special to be involved.
"I am convinced that we will send out strong teams against Ecuador and the USA. Games like this always give individual players a chance to present themselves.
"Players who have not yet had the chance to play a defining role in the national team can prove themselves and take on responsibility.
"They have warranted these call-ups. I am really pleased that they now have the chance to experience being in the national team. I am looking forward to seeing whether they take this chance."
Low also congratulated Bayern Munich on winning the Champions League title with their 2-1 in over Borussia Dortmund, in what was the first ever all-German final.
"Congratulations to Bayern Munich on winning the Champions League," he said. "I especially congratulate (Bayern manager) Jupp Heynckes on this success.
"It was a high class, fast-moving final with all that is good about football. Both teams have shown they were rightly in the final.
"Dortmund made it extremely difficult for the Bavarians, especially in the first half. During the second half, Bayern had a lot of pressure and scored the decisive goal.
"Anyone who is in a Champions League final three times in four years deserves to win the title. Maybe Bayern this year were simply in line."
