NBA Playoffs Finals 2013: Paul George Does His Best LeBron James Impression By Leading Indiana Pacers With 27 Points In Loss As Game 6 Saturday Night

The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers have been locked into an intense series and although the Pacers are down 3-2, one thing has been made perfectly clear in the series: Paul George is on his way to becoming a superstar player.

George is the closest thing that the Pacers have to a star with Danny Granger out and after he led the team in scoring, rebounds and assists in Game 5, he is the closest thing they have to LeBron James, who did the same thing for the Heat in the victory. George has been one of the best players for the Pacers through the playoffs and he was one reason the team was so consistent during the regular season as well.

George has been the focal point of the offense and he was one reason that the Pacers played so well against Miami during the season in the first place. The Pacers two out of three games during that time against Miami, including both at home that were double digit wins and now they have to do it again in Game 6 to stay alive. Miami won Game 3 on the road for their first win in Indiana this season and after losing Game 4 on the road they rebounded with the win in Game 5 for the 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6 on Saturday in Indiana.

James was fantastic again for the Heat and the only player that could do anything all night on a consistent basis was George, who ended up with a double-double in the process. George finished the game with 27 points and 11 rebounds and led the team with five assists, while LeBron James finished with 30 points, eight rebounds and six assists in another great game. The two players went at each other, but it was James who came through, as he assisted or scored on 25 points in the third quarter as the Heat outscored the Pacers 30-13 in the quarter which ended up being the big difference in the game.
