French Open 2013 Live Stream: Watch Free Online Day 8 Action Involving Federer and Serena at Roland Garros

After Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova made it through to the fourth round of the French Open, the likes of Roger Federer and Serena Williams will target the quarterfinals on Day 8 of the French Open.

Roger Federer has had a serene outing at Roland Garros so far, and the Swiss Master will face his toughest test yet when he takes court against hometown boy Gilles Simon.

Federer already ousted one Frenchman - Julien Benneteau - in the previous round and will again have to battle his opponent and the crowd that will surely back their compatriot in a tricky fourth round encounter.

Before that match, Serena Williams will be bidding for a quarterfinal spot at the Philippe Chatrier when she comes up against Italian Roberta Vinci.

The American has been near unbeatable in the last couple of months, and Vinci will have to be at her absolute best to even have a sniff of an opportunity to pulling off a win.

"Just taking every match a little bit at a time and just trying to stay focused for every match," Williams said after her win over Sorana Cirstea in the third round.

"I think everyone, when they step out to play me, I feel like they really bring their 'A' game. And I think, you know, I just have to get really pumped up for everything to a point where I want to win, you know, as much as I can out there, whether it's every point or just do the best that I can do. That's pretty much what I try to do."

While Williams might have been successful in recent times in other Grand Slams, the veteran hasn't won the French Open since 2002. However, Williams is not too concerned about breaking this particular drought, instead concentrating on just doing the right things at the right time.

"Every slam is really my priority," she added. "I would love to win this one, but there is still a lot of people in the draw that would love to win this tournament, as well. I'm just one of those. For me, it's just about focusing in on not just this particular one, but I think all four of them."
