For the past few years, NBA stars have been teaming up with each other, trying to win a championship.

Aging players have often joined forces in the quest to win a title before their careers end.

Chris Bosh and Lebron James did something similar when they decided to sign with the Heat in 2010, hoping to win multiple NBA titles. Since the "Big 3" was formed, multiple veterans have signed with Miami in hopes of winning a ring.

Players like Mike Miller, Shane Battier, and Juwan Howard have gone to South Beach in an attempt to win a championship before their careers are over.

Now, one star player who has yet to win it all says he may sign with the Heat as well.

Suns point guard Steve Nash said in a recent interview that he would consider playing for the Heat next year.

Nash is a free agent at the end of the season, and there's a good chance he will sign somewhere else. He's been very loyal to Phoenix, not asking for a trade the past few years when they have not been a contender. The Suns are currently 10th in the Western Conference, two games out a playoff spot.

Nash is one of the oldest players in the NBA. At 38 years old, he has yet to win a championship, let alone make the NBA Finals. Signing with Miami would give Nash a great shot at winning a ring before he retires.

Despite his age, the point guard shows no signs of slowing down. The two-time MVP leads the league with 11.2 assists per game. He also averages 12.9 points per game on the season.

Nash would likely have to take less money to sign with Miami. They don't have much salary cap space after signing James and Bosh in the 2010 offseason.

The point guard was mentioned in multiple trade rumors throughout the season, but the Suns ultimately decided to keep the star player.
