Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain thinks the Gunners can take the pressure off Robin van Persie by sharing the goalscoring responsibilities, according to an Arsenal.com report.
The Dutchman has been in the form of his life this season, with 26 goals and 10 assists from 30 league matches. And in those rare matches, where he failed to add his name on the scoresheet, several others - such as Thomas Vermaelen and Kieran Gibbs - have chipped in with vital goals to take the London club to third position in the table.
Arsenal have had 17 different goalscorers in the Premier League this season, which is more than any other club and Oxlade-Chamberlain says that it helps in easing the burden of goals on van Persie.
"Robin has been the main man for goals this season, he is a fantastic player and we see it week in, week out," Arsenal.com quoted Chamberlain as saying.
"But the fact that we can bring goals from other areas of the pitch and from different boys does help to take the pressure of him. That will in turn help him relax and play the way he wants to play and he will end up scoring anyway.
"It has been good, especially with people like Thomas (Vermaelen) scoring from the back. It always helps to score from other areas of the pitch so long may it continue," the 19-year-old added.
