NBA Finals 2013: Dennis Rodman Says LeBron James Would Be Average Player With Michael Jordan If He Played In The Early 90s (VIDEO)

Dennis Rodman has been all over the place this year, literally, with his trip to North Korea and now the Chicago Bulls star has done it again, as he said that superstar LeBron James would be an average player if he played in the early 1990s.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, the former Bulls great said that the comparisons of Jordan and James are not quite there and that if LeBron played in the late 80s or early 90s that he could be "just an average player". He added that if Jordan played today as a 28-year-old, he would be scoring 40 points per game and killing it. The comparisons are tough since it is different eras, but it is hard to say that a four-time NBA MVP would be an average player during any era.

Rodman is known for his provocative statements and this is another one that could spur some interesting debate.
