Wimbledon 2013: Schedule with Dates, Time, Start & End of Tournament as Next Grand Slam is 2 Weeks Away

The 2013 French Open has concluded and the next major tournament on the calender is Wimbledon 2013. Here are important dates and times to keep in mind if you're trying to keep pace with the third grand slam tourney of the year.

Opening Date & Time
Wimbledon 2013 begins on Monday, June 24. The grounds at Wimbledon will be open from 10:30 a.m. GMT-11 p.m. GMT. As far as Centre Court action, players will take the court at 1 p.m. GMT/8 a.m. ET. 

Despite his loss, Novak Djokovic will come into the tournament as the No. 1 ranked in Men's Singles. Serena Williams has nothing to worry about as she took home the 2013 French Open title in Women's Singles. It was her first title at Roland Garros since 2002. She breezed by Maria Sharapova in consecutive sets and doesn't appear to be slowing down. She will enter 2013 Wimbledon as the defending champion and will attempt to capture her sixth championship as Wimbledon has been her most successful grand slam tournament. 

Rafael Nadal won his record eighth championship at the 2013 French Open. He will now try to return to the Wimbledon grounds that saw him get eliminated in the second round last year. Wimbledon belongs to Roger Federer and he will be trying to defend his title as Andy Murray is set to make a return to tennis after missing the French Open. 

Finals Dates and Times 
The Wimbledon Finals will take place over the weekend in the final days of the tournament. Saturday, June 23 will have the Women's Singles final setting off at 2 p.m. GMT/ 9 a.m. ET. Men's Singles will take place on the final day of the tournament which is Sunday, June 24 and the match will also begin at 2 p.m. GMT/9 a.m. ET.
