Manchester United's Ferdinand Considers Transfer to China - Report

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is thinking about a move to China next summer, according to a Daily Mail report.

Ferdinand could join former Chelsea forward Nicolas Anelka in China, after the Frenchman signed for Shanghai Shenhua earlier this year, though they are not the club reported to be interested in the Man Utd player.

The report says that Ferdinand will be offered wages of around £175,000-a-week by the yet unidentified Chinese club.

The 33-year-old arrived at United from Leeds in 2002 and his current contract at Old Trafford ends at the end of next season.
