The New York Jets traded for Tim Tebow and were extremely loud and excited about it, while the New England Patriots signed the quarterback and were very low key about it and now Jets coach Rex Ryan has the chance to speak about the deal after it was announced on Monday.

The Jets do things loudly and their rivals do not and now Bill Belichick has the chance to show Ryan and the Jets why they were wrong in their handling of Tebow and has the chance to get another steal from the team like he did with Danny Woodhead a few years ago. According to NFL.com, Ryan spoke about Tebow on Tuesday, saying that he wasn't surprised that the quarterback was signed and that he is happy for him and happy to compete against him.

Tebow is another ex-Jet who has signed with a division rival, following tight end Dustin Keller as well as defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, who signed with the Dolphins and Bills respectively. The Jets ditched Tebow after completely screwing up how to use the quarterback and now they will have to watch as the Patriots use him on offense. The Jets have issues of their own on offense and one good sign is that wideouts Stephen Hill and Jeremy Kerley are expected to workout at minicamp.

"It's not a surprise to me that Tim would be picked up," Ryan said. "Obviously, as I said before, you know, tremendous young man. Very competitive. So, I'm happy for him and look forward to competing against him."
