Tim Tebow Joins Former Florida Gators Teammates Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Spikes On New England Patriots, Quarterback Ready To Learn From Tom Brady

Tim Tebow is now a New England Patriots player after signing a two year deal with the team and after being released by the Jets earlier in the offseason, he is back with some old teammates from the University of Florida in Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Spikes, who say that he fits perfectly on the roster.

Tebow won championships with the Gators and his teammates and many were surprised that the Patriots signed him. The Jets now have to watch as rival Bill Belichick actually figures out a good way to use Tebow in ways they couldn't and while he won't be starting anytime soon, he should contribute to the team in some way. He rejoins former head coach Josh McDaniels, who was with him and drafted him in Denver, as well as his Gators teammates.

Belichick feels that Tebow can add talent to the team and is a hard worker and he said that he'll see how things progress. The two year deal has no guaranteed money and is a low risk deal for the Pats and now they can stick it to the Jets in other ways after bringing in their former quarterback that they traded for with such fanfare.

"It definitely was a surprise to most of us," Hernandez said. "I was a little shocked and I was happy. I had a long relationship with him in college and it's good to play with a college teammate again."
