Aaron Hernandez Murder Rumors: Police Search Pond Near New England Patriots TE Mansion Home As Odin Lloyd Homicide Case Continues

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been embroiled in a murder investigation and as the police are likely preparing to arrest him, authorities have also spent time searching in and around his home, including in a nearby pond.

According to ESPN.com, police spent three hours on Saturday searching his mansion in North Attleborough and on Monday they searched a pond that is located near the home of the tight end. Hernandez has now been connected with the scandal for over a week after the body of Odin Lloyd was found shot to death and reports say that he could be arrested in connection with the homicide imminently. The warrant for his arrest likely would be for obstruction of justice, as he destroyed his cell phone and security system at home willingly.

Lloyd is an associate of Hernandez and the 27-year-old was a semi-pro football player before being discovered dead a mile from the home of the tight end. Police said that he was shot multiple times and that the body was not moved after it was killed. The Bristol County District Attorney's office has been quiet on details and now news has come out yet if the police found anything in the pond or the home.

The police used dogs and crime equipment at the home and were there for over three hours. Reports say that there is video of Hernandez with Lloyd on the night of the murder and while he has not been named as a suspect, he has not been ruled out either.
