Wimbledon 2013 Bracket: Who's Left in Men's Singles? Federer Eliminated, Murray Advances (Update)

The Men's Singles bracket at 2013 Wimbledon took another major hit after a historic day on Centre Court at the All England Club. Roger Federer, a favorite to win it all, was bounced from competition on Wednesday evening in London. Andy Murray advanced to the third round, which is probably what most British fans care about, but this now leaves only three of the Top 5 Men's Singles players alive in the tournament.

...And Then There Were Three
After a surprising day of injury withdrawals and defeats on Day 3, unseeded players have now knocked out two of the Top 5 players, and 12 of the 32 seeded players in the Men's Singles bracket for Wimbledon 2013. Reigning Wimbledon champion, Federer, was upset in four sets by unseeded Ukranian, Sergiy Stakhovsky. For the first time in 36 straight grand slam tournaments, Federer's name will not be a part of the quarterfinals bracket.

It wasn't all bad news for top ranked players at Wimbledon. Murray cruised to victory, though he had some issues closing out Yen-Hsun Lu in the final set. The final score read 6-3, 6-3, 7-5 in favor of Murray.

Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer seemed to have dodged bullets. They had the day off on Wednesday and will hit the court at Wimbledon on Thursday. However, is there something we should prepare for? Will the mighty continue to fall and leave us without a No. 1 or No. 4 seed player heading into round three of the tournament?

The drama!

No. 6 ranked Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was eliminated from the tournament earlier Wednesday as he pulled out in the fourth set of his match. He was down one set, 2-1, before handing the victory over to unseeded Ernests Gulbis, No. 38 in the Men's Singles rankings.

Remember Steve Darcis, the guy who upset No. 5 Rafael Nadal? Like Cinderella, his magic faded over time and was forced to withdraw from his match in the second round against Lukasz Kubot due to injury. Along with Darcis, No. 18 seed John Isner and No. 10 seed Marin Cilic also withdrew from the tournament, citing injury.
