Bucks Rumors: Milwaukee Targets Gary Neal As San Antonio Spurs Restricted Free Agent In Mix With Four Teams Including Detroit Pistons

The Milwaukee Bucks have had a rough go of it in free agency so far after losing JJ Redick and Monta Ellis and now the team is taking some steps of its own to get some talent back, working on restricted free agent Gary Neal from the San Antonio Spurs.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Bucks have been in the mix for Neal and since the Spurs already have 14 roster spots filled, there is chance they could let him go. The report says that the Pistons are another option and they could end up looking very strong after free agency if they can sign Neal to add with Josh Smith.

Neal has been a solid player for the Spurs and averaged 9.5 points a game and is a career 39.8 percent shooter and now the Bucks may bring him in to be a starter. The rumors say that the Spurs may not match an offer for Neal and if the Bucks try to give him one, they will see what San Antonio will decide to do.
