The Aaron Hernandez murder case has taken a number of different angles around the world of football and when people complained about the former Patriots tight end appearing in a picture in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the shrine took it down.
While that made many fans happy, one person that wasn't was photographer Mary Schwalm, who was the one that took the picture. According to the Sporting News, the photographer said she found out the news on Twitter and that it was disappointing the photo got caught up in what Hernandez did. She added that she was able to say 'I have a photo hanging in the Hall of Fame,' but now she cannot.
Obviously Hernandez should not be celebrated, but the photo did win a contest and it likely was a point of pride for the photographer. She also added that she was not told by the Hall about the move, just that she found out about it on Twitter,
