A fan decided to rush the field during the All-Star game at Citi Field after saying he would do it on Twitter if he got 1,000 retweets and after doing so, he was body slammed to the floor by security.
The whole act played out over social media, as the handle @ MasoneDylan said he would do it if he got 1,000 retweets and despite posting text messages from his mother that said not to, he did it and was body slammed by security. "if i get 1000 RTs id really do it." The American League won 3-0 and prior to the game he tweeted and during the game he did so as well.
From CBS: "The fan tweeted prior to the game up until he pulled the stunt on Tuesday night. His tweets ranged from pictures of text-message exchanges with his mother to proclamations that he was going to go through with the stunt. He also expressed nervousness about the potential consequences."
