There will be no afternoon games on Friday, meaning fans all around the country will be able to enjoy their local teams' games in the comfort of their homes.

The action takes off with five games with first pitch scheduled for a little after 7 p.m. ET
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Washington Nationals: 7:05 p.m. ET/4:05 p.m. ET

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays: 7:07 p.m. ET

These early games feature divisional rivals, except for the Dodgers vs. Nationals game. However, that matchup features two second-place teams trying to overtake first place in their respective divisions. The most interesting matchup has to be the Pirates vs. Reds as they are separated by four games. The Pirates look to break their second half curse and make the playoffs for the first time since 1992.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Texas Rangers: 8:05 p.m. ET

Atlanta Braves vs. Chicago White Sox: 8:10 p.m. ET

Cleveland Indians vs. Minnesota Twins: 8:10 p.m. ET

A bulk of the action will begin after 8 p.m. ET. A lot of these teams like the Twins, Mariners, Padres, Marlins and Cubs will go into the second half of the year looking to showcase some of their valuable trade chips to obtain prospects for their organization's future. Teams like the Orioles, Rockies and Cardinals might look to make additions that can power them in the second half of the season.

Wrapping up the action on Friday will be the Oakland Athletics vs. Los Angeles Angels at 7 p.m. PT/10:05 p.m. ET and the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants at 7:15 p.m. PT/10:15 p.m. ET.
