Bill Murray always brings out his inner child at sporting events, and his slide into home plate during Thursday's Cubs-Nationals game was no exception.

Murray, known for his roles in "Caddyshack," "Lost In Translation" and the Ghostbusters films, is a Chicago native and threw out the first pitch Thursday to open up the baseball season for the Cubs.

Bill Murray has a passion for sports and lets out his humorous side as a staple of the PGA Pro-Am golf tournaments. He won the event last year with pro golfer D.A. Points.

Murray has entertained crowds with his zany attire and antics during the tournaments.

Unfortunately for Murray and Cubs fans everywhere, Chicago lost to the Nationals, 2-1.
