Cornerback Terence Newman to Sign With the Cincinnati Bengals

Former Dallas Cowboy cornerback Terence Newman will sign with the Cincinnati Bengals according to sources with ESPN.  The 33-year-old will sign a one-year deal and join Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who was with Newman in Dallas.

Newman has appeared in two Pro Bowls since being drafted by the Cowboys in 2003 with the fifth overall pick. He has put up good numbers during his career including 32 interceptions starting 131 or his 133 games with the Cowboys. 

Newman was cut by the Cowboys in a salary cap move, due to his $8 million salary cap number.
