As his tour through interested NBA teams continues, free agent Greg Oden had a successful two-hour workout Tuesday in Indianapolis in front of Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, new Sacramento Kings general manager Peter D'Alessandro and representatives from the New Orleans Pelicans, according to sources of ESPN.
"It went well," the source told ESPN about the workouts. "He did a ton of agility stuff, ran suicides and also did drills on the court."
Sources claim that Oden will prepare for another workout session on Thursday for Atlanta Hawks officials before sitting down in a private meeting with the Pelicans later this week in Vegas.
The San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks have also continued their pursuit for Oden, but sources claim that the hunt is still in the information-gathering stage and that none has yet to put forth an official offer on the table.
Sources maintain that the Heat and Spurs remain to be co-favorites for Oden's services this offseason.
Oden was the top overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft out of Ohio State and has battled numerous knee injuries and hasn't played in the NBA since Dec. 5, 2009. He is coming off his third microfracture knee surgery in February 2012.
Oden has averaged 9.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 82 career games and has been working out in both Columbus and Indianapolis this past offseason.
