ABC News is reporting that Tanya Singleton, who is Hernandez's cousin and shared a house with one of the accomplices in the murder, Carlos Ortiz, had her phone confiscated and that police executed a search warrant on the home that the two live in. Singleton is the daughter of Hernandez's uncle Andres Valderrama and on top of that, her husband, Thaddeus "TL" Singleton III, was possibly connected to the Hernandez case, as police wanted to question him as a potential witness, but he died in a car accident in Connecticut and the authorities never spoke with him. The 33-year-old was killed before investigators could talk to him and now the authorities will try and collect more evidence from the home. The police executed the warrant at the Bristol, CT location on Wednesday night and the probable cause hearing was delayed earlier in the day until August.

The police gave Singleton a warrant to confiscate the phone and as she read it in the hallway, she told ABC News that she was not going to talk about it and when reporters asked Hernandez's girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins about it, she remarked the same thing, saying that she was not talking and for them to get away. Reports have also come out that the investigation into Hernandez's connection to a double murder in Boston from last year may result in more charges and police have said that a possible motive for Lloyd's death was information about that crime.

More evidence has tied Hernandez to the crime, including a .45 caliber magazine that was found to have his fingerprints and investigators have said that a .45 caliber gun was the murder weapon, although that has not been found yet. Hernandez was released by the Patriots after being arrested for the murder of Lloyd and it has been reported that the two met since they were each dating a Jenkins sister, with Aaron dating Shayanna and Lloyd dating Shaneah. Hernandez has been tied to the murder through shell casings, clothing, video surveillance as well as text messages and cell phone records.

The body of the 27-year-old Lloyd was found less than a mile from the house Hernandez shared with Jenkins in Attleboro and he was arrested the following week. Jenkins initially was talking to police before Hernandez told her to stop and reports came out that Hernandez was agitated with police after they asked him questions about Lloyd and also that he showed no signs of emotion when he was told it was for a murder investigation. Hernandez was considered to be one of the most versatile players in the NFL and one of the players at his position with potential to be a star and now his football career is likely over, as he is facing life in prison for the crime.
