Milwaukee Bucks Rumors: Brandon Jennings Desire For A Deal In $48-50 Million Range Unlikely As Possible Sign-And-Trade With Philadelphia Could Be In The Works

Point guard Brandon Jennings remains to be one of the biggest question marks during the offseason, having so far being unable to secure a lucrative contract deal. He's currently seeking a deal in the $11-12 million range but it's clear that he and the Milwaukee Bucks aren't on the same page.

Bucks sources were adamant that re-signing Jennings was something they were very open to doing, but it has to be at a price that works for them. They've issued Jennings a $4.53 million qualifying offer to make him a restricted free agent, so they can match anything Jennings is offered by another team.

As of now the Philadelphia 76ers are the only team with the meaningful amount of cap space to make a bid for Jennings. The 76ers currently have $16.1 million available in possible cap space, while the Bucks sit just under $8 million, with no other team out there able to make an offer more than an exception-based deal for Jennings, leaving Milwaukee with all types of leverage.

The Bucks could opt to do a sign-and-trade deal for Jennings, despite him being the best guard they could have at the moment.

The Bucks and Jennings continue to talk about a deal, but it's clear that Milwaukee is not overly interested in a $48-$50 million deal for Jennings and that could create an immovable impasse.
