NBA Rumors: Mo Williams Meets With Memphis Grizzlies As Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers Like Josh Childress? NY Knicks and Delonte West Work On Deal

The NBA offseason is starting to move into the preseason and prep stages of the summer after big names like Dwight Howard and Chris Paul signed deals and after the Bucks traded star point guard Brandon Jennings, team have started to look at other names on the market, including Mo Williams and Josh Childress.

Williams has received interest from the Memphis Grizzlies as well as other teams after playing with the Jazz last season and averaging nearly 30 points and he could sign this week. The 30-year-old could be a solid addition to someone like the Miami Heat and the Grizzlies appear to be the top option after he averaged 12.9 points and 6.2 assists last season. Williams is at just under 40 percent on threes for his career and after adding Mike Miller, the Grizzlies would be bringing in another solid player for depth with Williams.

Josh Childress has played in Europe and now he may come back to the NBA after rejecting an offer from Olympiacos to return and the Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers may be interested in signing him. Childress has had a strange few years with the NBA, as he left the Hawks and $33 million to play in Greece and he also came back and got a $21 million contract from the Suns before being hit with the amnesty clause.

Last season Childress played in 14 games with the Nets and scored just 14 points, but after working out this summer, he may have offers from the Kings and Sixers. Philly looks like they are selling the kitchen sink to get a chance at Andrew Wiggins and the Kings are coming after him after signing Carl Landry and trying to get Monta Ellis this offseason.

The NY Knicks and Delonte West may also be working on a contract after the team signed Metta World Peace and since they want another player behind Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni, west could be an option. The team also signed JR Smith and Kenyon Martin back this offseason and Ian Begley of ESPN New York writes that the team has had conversations with West's reps. At 20-years-old West could provide some solid depth to the team and with his 37 percent shooting from three he could be valuable in spots.
