The New York Knicks have a made a number of moves this offseason to try and get better overall so that Carmelo Anthony can bring the team a championship and after signing back J.R. Smith and Pablo Prigioni, the front office has set its signs on Beno Udrih.

According to Pro Basketball Talk and ESPN.com, the team is trying to convince Udrih to take a pay cut to come play for the team, as they only have a minimum deal to offer. Udrih was traded last season from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Orlando Magic and he played well in spots while Jameer Neslon was hurt and the Knicks see him as a solid backup option for Raymond Felton after averaging 10.2 points and 6.1 assists in 27 minutes with Orlando.

Udrih has played for a number of teams since entering the NBA with the Spurs and after making $32.5 million during the past five season, the Knicks feel that they can convince him to come aboard. The team has dealt with injuries numerous times at the point guard position and Udrih can give them some support on the bench.

Udrih is solid from three after shooting 39.6 percent from beyond the arc last season and he could be a very good backup option after spending time with the Kings, Bucks and Magic. The Knicks are also reportedly looking at Delonte West, but if they sign Udrih it is likely that a deal won't happen.
