Riley Cooper has apologized for his racists remarks and while teammates have had a hard time getting over it in some areas of the locker room, the Eagles announced on Twitter that the wideout will have a leave of absence as he goes to counseling for his issues.
According to Pro Football Talk, he will be excused from all team activities as he has counseling for what happened and he has apologized to his teammates, team, fans, owner and coach, but it still may divide the locker room. Cooper was seen as a friend by many teammates and now, some like LeSean McCoy have said that they don't see him in the same way after video surfaced of him using a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert.
According to Deadspin.com, Cooper has his defenders on Twitter, many of whom appear racist in what they have said, although many claim that they are not racists and neither is Cooper. Take a look at some and judge for yourselves.
