Shark Week 2013 is here. The most feared marine creatures will be featured for an entire week, that's how you can tell humans respect them. Though we are a sports site, sharks are so intense, all we can do is respect them too. Plus, we've written about Great Whites in the past. Today, we provide information on all the action as Shark Week takes off Sunday night. The closest thing to sharks in sports is NHL's franchise in San Jose. Shark Week will definitely make more noise than the sixth-place Sharks though they will only be around for seven days. Check out the time, schedule and TV channel airing the action.

The bad boys of the ocean, the Great White sharks, will be featured in the Countdown to Shark Week 2013. More and more studies have been made on Great Whites, allowing humans to understand the species of sharks that has terrorized dreams for decades. Air Jaws will air at 8 p.m. ET and you can catch a sneakpeak into next year's show, Finding Colossus.

Megalodon is what people have been waiting for as it officially kicks off Shark Week. Then at 11 p.m. you can catch Shark After Dark. Throughout the week, Discovery will be showing:
