2013 NFL Preseason is here! Watch all the action and all the games online as NFL.com provides all the action. The Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers take the field for their first preseason games of the year.
The Ravens are the defending Super Bowl champions and the Buccaneers, well, they just pose a threat in the NFC South, but nothing else. Both teams have good quarterbacks and even better running backs. It was fun watching Doug Martin run the ball for the Bucs and Ray Rice always provides great highlights.
Joe Flacco and Josh Freeman will likely take a couple of snaps, but they will give way to the backups trying to gain a permanent spot on their teams' rosters. Same goes for running backs Martin and Rice.
Both teams have made transactions over the offseason that will likely affect them in the regular season. The Ravens are without Anquan Boldin and Ray Lewis, who were big pieces in their 2012 Super Bowl run. They added Vonta Leach after terminating him in early June. Then went ahead and signed Visanthe Shiancoe.
The Buccaneers made bold moves in acquiring Darrelle Revis from the New York Jets. They also signed Peyton Hillis, hoping he could provide a 1-2 running back punch along with Martin. The Bucs upgrade on defense by adding Revis and Hillis, a low risk/high reward kind of back.
