England vs Scotland Live Stream: Watch Free Online International Friendly From Wembley

England skipper Steven Gerrard does not expect his side to hold things back when they take on rivals Scotland in an international friendly at Wembley Wednesday.

The game will also be keenly watched as Wayne Rooney makes his first public appearance in a match in months with Roy Hodgson seeing the friendly as perfect preparation ahead of two key World Cup qualifying fixtures in September.

"Scotland are bringing 20,000 (fans) and we are going to have 60,000, so it is going to be like a derby match," Gerrard said. "As players it is the type of game you want to play in and as fans you want to watch.

"It is a World Cup year with important qualifying games so we need a good result against our local rivals and we are excited and looking forward to the game. It is important we go in with confidence, because this is a big game for us. There'll be no holding back and we want to win.

"I know this is classed as a friendly but we are all patriotic Englishmen and we all want to beat Scotland. You want to make your own history, have your own memories.

"This will probably be my last chance to play Scotland so, if we get a win, it'll be one I remember for the rest of my life. And if we were to get beat, I'm sure we will be criticised for a very long time."

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is also looking forward to the game and wants to make an impact in the international setup.

"I have had a frustrating England career so far, but I have had a full preseason now and hopefully I can get a run of games with Arsenal and England," he said.

"I want to play for my country. The next step is 90 minutes and then I will be ready. We are expecting a tough start. It will almost feel like a Premier League game with the intensity, but we will be up for it as well.

"There is never a friendly between England and Scotland."
