Fantasy Football Sleepers 2013: Michael Vick, Lamar Miller, Ryan Tannehill, Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett and Rueben Randle Top Options

The fantasy football season is getting closer to starting and with the preseason in full swing around the league a number of players are trying to prove themselves to make rosters in the NFL and they are also proving whether they will be worth it to draft in fantasy leagues and some sleeper options include names like Michael Vick, Ryan Tannehill, Daryl Richardson, Eddie Lacy, Lamar Miller, Antonio Brown and Alshon Jeffery as well as names like Rueben Randle and Martellus Bennett.

Check here for more fantasy football advice and sleepers on the season from Sports World Report.

Sleepers are usually the best way to find value where no other owners are looking and with a number of good names getting ranked low this season for whatever reason, they could be the difference between winning a league and making the playoffs at all. The quarterback position is often one that can help determine champions and never-rans and names like Alex Smith, Sam Bradford, Ryan Tannehill and Eli Manning are names that could really surprise over top picks like Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Alex Smith should put up some great numbers this season after being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, as new head coach Andy Reid is known for his work with quarterbacks and after being put in an offense that already has Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe, all he needs to is be as accurate as he was with the 49ers. Smith was the starting quarterback last season with the 49ers before getting injured and losing it to Colin Kaepernick and now that he is on the Chiefs he will have the chance to put up some filthy numbers. Charles has turned into an elite back that can catch passes out of the backfield and the team also added more names at tight end and receiver as well. Smith could end up in the top 10 of fantasy quarterbacks depending on how the Chiefs offense runs.

Ryan Tannehill is a prime candidate to be a breakout quarterback after the Miami Dolphins decided to be big spenders this year and with Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline on the outside, he could put up very good numbers. Wallace comes from the Steelers and with the addition of Brandon Gibson as well as Dustin Keller, the team should be much more consistent on offense. Last season the team had Reggie Bush at running back and now it will be Lamar Miller and with his speed he could really open things up for Tannehill.

Some other notable sleeper options include Eddie Lacy, David Wilson and Giovani Bernard at running back, as well as Le'Veon Bell with the Steelers, who could end up being the starter after Rashard Mendenhall left. Wilson is likely to put up some great numbers for the Giants, as the team loves his explosive speed and with Ahmad Bradshaw gone, Wilson and Brown will be the main two running backs for Eli Manning. Bernard is expected to come in and be the starter for the Bengals as a rookie and the same thing could happen for Lacy, as the Packers had literally no running game last season and he could be a big producer this year.
