Cincinnati Bengals Rumors: A.J. Green Back At Practice After Knee Bruise, WR To Miss Preseason Game Against Tennessee Titans As Fantasy Owners Want Big Season

The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the spotlight teams this preseason while appearing on the HBO series "Hard Knocks" and after making the playoffs the past two seasons and losing to the Houston Texans in the first round, head coach Marvin Lewis is looking to take the team to the next level in 2013.

One of the biggest parts of the offense this year will be the play of wide receiver A.J. Green and the Bengals must have been thrilled to have the young star back at practice after missing workouts for over two weeks. According to ESPN.com, Green participated in a limited practice this week after dealing with a knee issue and it was the first time he was back there in quite some time after having a bruised knee. Last season Green was terrific working with quarterback Andy Dalton, making 97 catches for 1,350 yards and 11 touchdowns and the Bengals need him healthy to get back to the playoffs for a third straight season.

Green did not play in the 34-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in the first week of the preseason and they will play the Tennessee Titans on Saturday for their second game. Green likely will not play after practicing on a limited basis and he has been out of action since bruising the knee back in July in training camp. The Bengals open the season with a road game against the Chicago Bears on September 8 and the team is hoping that Green is fully recovered by then.

"I am back to 100 percent," Green said. "They just don't want to throw me back just like this. As the days go on, I am going to work my way back into them."
