The New England Patriots are considered a classy organization and the team will do another event that shows why on Friday night, as they will be honoring law enforcement and MIT police officer Sean Collier, who was killed in the aftermath of the Boston bombing and subsequent manhunt.

According to ESPN Boston, the team will honor Collier and other members of the "the Massachusetts State Police, Foxborough Police Department, Boston Police Department, Watertown Police Department, MBTA Transit Police Department and MIT Police Department," as it is the first home game of the season after the team played against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1 of the preseason. The report says that the team will have a moment of silence and they also will honor other members of law enforcement.

Collier was a Pats fan and the report says that he was going to have season tickets for the first time in 2013. According to ESPN.com, the team has invited 90 police officers to take place in the annual pregame "Thank You" along with 90 fans who will greet the team as they are introduced.

The report says that the fans will: "appear in uniformed apparel, each wearing a Nike No. 1 Patriots blue jersey. Those fans will be paired with 90 officers, who will be wearing their own blue uniforms representing the various police departments."
