Aaron Hernandez Girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins Deals With Court Deadlines In Odin Lloyd Murder Case, Patriots TE Faces Florida Complaint For Shooting

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is dealing with a range of issues in his murder case as he awaits trial for the death of Odin Lloyd and as all this is going on, his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins also has to deal with dates and deadline as he is scheduled for court this week.

According to ESPN.com, Hernandez is due in court on August 22 for his probably cause hearing, which was delayed from back in July and he also could be facing further issues regarding a shooting incident with Alexander Bradley, an associate from Florida. The report says that Hernandez is being accused of shooting Bradley and part of the case includes Hernandez being accused of going to different clubs with Bradley with a loaded gun, which led to a shooting incident that injured the man's eye.

Hernandez still has to answer in that case and Bradley was also brought to speak with the grand jury in the investigation. Jenkins has not made any public statements about either case and now she is part of things as well, as a storage unit in her name was looked at by police after cell phone records and her sister implied in an interview that she may have had something to do with hiding the murder weapon. According to reports, accomplice Carlos Ortiz said Hernandez stashed guns in his basement and one day after the shooting occurred, video surveillance showed Jenkins leaving their home with a large bag.

The report says she placed the bag in her trunk and a "rigid" object appeared to be inside and when she returned, the trunk was empty. Police did not take anything after searching the unit, presumably meaning the guns were not there, but that does not mean she didn't dispose of them somewhere else. Police also searched a pond in Bristol for multiple days, but also did not find anything. Hernandez is being held in jail without bail for the murder of Lloyd and he is tied to the crime scene through cell phone records, shell casings as well as video surveillance of him the night of the murder.

Ortiz and another accomplice Ernest Wallace are in jail, while Hernandez's cousin Tanya Singleton was jailed for not appearing in front of the grand jury. The case will move forward this week with the court appearance and it is unclear whether Jenkins will be in court or not on the date of the probable cause hearing. She has appeared multiple times already and has been seen not interacting with the Jenkins family and she has not been in public apart from the times at court and now she could be facing charges if it is found that she hindered the investigation or hid evidence.
