Texas Longhorns Live Stream and Score vs. New Mexico State: Watch Big 12 College Football Online

The Texas Longhorns are entering a very important season for head coach Mack Brown after a disappointing season in 2012 and winning just nine games and the team will open the year with an easier game against New Mexico State and should get off to a nice start on Saturday night at home.

The team comes into the season as the number 15 ranked team in the nation and they have a good history against New Mexico State, as they have won all four of the matchups they have ever played and in those games they have dominated, winning by over four touchdowns and that s why they are 40-plus point favorites in the game. David Ash looks ready to take the next step after having a solid season in 2012, passing for 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions and he also developed his arm and had plenty of big plays.

Ash took a step forward last season with three games with 300 passing yards and he has some solid receivers returning, including Jaxon Shipley and Mike Davis, who combined for 13 touchdowns last season. Shipley had 59 catches for 737 yards and David added 57 catches for 939 yards and both could have even more production this season after developing last year. The game will air on Watch ESPN and the Longhorn TV network and the score can be followed along on ESPN.

Last season the Longhorns went just 9-4 and finished 5-4 in in the Big 12 and they went only 2-3 against the Top 25 in 2012. Ash came in with nearly 2,700 yards passing to lead the team and David was tops in receiving yards and the team will next play on the road against BYU before playing Ole Miss and Kansas State, who just got beat in a big upset. The team will play against Iowa State and then Oklahoma before playing TCU and then the team will play Kansas before travelling to west Virginia and then they will play Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Baylor to finish the year.
