The fantasy football season is getting ready to begin and with the Ravens and Broncos playing on Thursday night, here are some quick hit predictions for the start of the season in Week 1 as well as advice from SWR on all types of fantasy football topics.

Some quick Week 1 predictions:

Peyton Manning is playing a tough team in the Baltimore Ravens, but look for him to get off to a strong start after getting Wes Welker in the offseason.

Russell Wilson and RG3 will also get off to fast starts, as the Redskins are playing the Eagles and the Seahawks are playing the Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton may struggle a bit with the Seattle defense after they played so well last season, while Joe Flacco could have the same issues with the Broncos.

Michael Vick will be able to have a nice start to the year for Philly against the Redskins, while Terrelle Pryor should struggle against the Colts.

The Raiders have made improvements, but not nearly enough to be a winning team.

Carson Palmer starts his year in Arizona and he could put up big numbers with Larry Fitzgerald.
