Jeremy Lin Game 5: 95 Percent Chance Lin Returns Wednesday to Knicks - Heat Playoff Series, According to Report

Jeremy Lin may not be 100 percent, but that doesn't matter. The Knicks need their starting point guard back.

There's a 95 percent chance Lin will play in Game 5, according to Ric Bucher of ESPN. Line hasn't played in over five weeks with a torn meniscus in his knee. Earlier today, Knicks head coach Mike Woodson was skeptical about how effective Lin would be on the court. But without, Baron Davis, the Knicks desperately need a point guard.

Davis dislocated his knee in Game 4 and had to be carried off the court on a stretcher.

Bucher is reporting that the Knicks are putting a lot of pressure on Lin to suit up for Game 5, even though he is not completely healthy.

New York is down 3-1 in their series with Miami. The Knicks play in South beach on Wednesday night as the heat try to close out the first round series.
