The San Francisco 49ers were beaten soundly by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night for the second time in a row after losing 42-13 last season and after the game linebacker Patrick Willis was not too happy with some of the blocking moves by the Seahawks.

According to ESPN.com, while coach Jim Harbaugh said the hit on Ian Williams that ended up breaking his ankle was legal, Willis did not think it was legitimate play and the NFL needs to look into cut blocks more seriously going forward. Williams broke his ankle on the play after getting hit low by a Seattle player and the injury went down in the first quarter of the game and Harbaugh remarked that based on the rules the play was legal.

Willis said after the game that the play should be looked into and so should cut blocking in general, as people's careers are on the line. Willis did his part with eight tackles in the loss and now the 49ers must try and rebound after defeating the Packers in Week 1 and losing on the road in Week 2 in a place they have found they do not like to play.

"I feel like as a linebacker or a D-lineman, any cut, it's a man sport -- be a man, hit me up high," Willis told CSNBayArea.com. "Hit like rams. You don't see a ram going and cutting another ram's legs. They hit head to head, pad to pad."
