James Starks Injury Yahoo Fantasy Football: Johnathan Franklin Best RB Option With Eddie Lacy Out For Green Bay Packers

The second week of the fantasy football season is about to finish up after the Bengals and the Steelers do battle on Monday Night Football and after another crazy week of games, some players that stood out for my team for various reasons included DeAndre Hopkins, Knowshon Moreno, Martellus Bennett, Jay Cutler, James Starks, Steven Jackson, Ray Rice, Aaron Rodgers, Reggie Bush and Andre Johnson.

Now all of these players weren't put in to start on Sunday and that came back to bite for some of them, while it was a good decision to sit Montee Ball for Knowshon Moreno, as he had two touchdowns and led the team in rushing against the New York Giants. The Falcons and the Rams played a very exciting game and Steven Jackson wasn't much a part of it against his old team, as he was injured and gave way to Jason Snelling, who had 19 yards and a touchdown in the game.

The Falcons won on big numbers in the passing game, including 11 catches for nearly 190 yards for Julio Jones and Matt Ryan finished with 374 yards and two TD passes in the game. Sam Bradford showed why he is a decent starting quarterback in fantasy with three touchdowns, while Chris Givens showed his big play ability with five catches for 105 yards in the contest.

The Chicago Bears needed another comeback from Jay Cutler in Week 2 and they got it, as Martellus Bennett scored the winning touchdown to get the team to 2-0 on the year. Cutler had three touchdowns on the day and he connected with PPR's favorite man in Brandon Marshall, who had seven catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in the game.

James Starks had himself quite the game and so did the Packers, as the team took out the Washington Redskins after going up 24-0 at halftime. Starks showed off why he could be the new starter in Green Bay with 132 yards and a touchdown in the game, while Aaron Rodgers threw for 480 yards and four touchdowns. James Jones led the way with 11 catches for 178 yards and Rodgers made up for his zero catches in Week 1.

Ray Rice, Reggie Bush and Andre Johnson are all players to watch, as each dealt with some sort of injury in Week 1. Rice is dealing with a hip issue, while Bush is nicked up stemming from last week. Johnson was knocked out with a concussion and that gave way to the rookie DeAndre Hopkins, who had a great game for the Texans.
