Aaron Hernandez Girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins Visited Bristol House? Cousin Tanya Singleton Still In Jail After Refusing Grand Jury Appearance

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is in jail for first degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd and there is a chance he could face further charges if he is found to be connected to another double murder from Boston last year.

According to news reports from ESPN.com and other outlets, Hernandez could be connected to a double murder drive by shooting from Boston last year and the Boston Globe reported earlier in the summer that death of Lloyd may be connected to that as well. The Associated Press reports that police have focused on a house in Bristol belonging to Hernandez's uncle, saying that it could be connected to both murders, since accomplices Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace were known to have stayed at the house and returned there after the murder of Lloyd.

Hernandez's girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins was seen by police on video surveillance after the killing of Lloyd taking a bag with a rigid object out of the house the day after Lloyd was killed and afterwards police searched a storage unit in her name for the gun. The investigation looked into whether Jenkins visited the house to possibly stash the gun and earlier in the summer police searched the home and found a vehicle that was there that fit the description of the vehicle seen at the drive by shooting in Boston last summer.

The AP report says that Hernandez's cousin Tanya Singleton lived at the house with his uncle and now she is being held in custody after refusing to testify against Hernandez for a grand jury. Hernandez could be facing further charges in the case and a man named John Alcorn that is related to Singleton appeared before the grand jury, as the gun linked to the double murder was connected to him after it was found.

The gun in the double murder was found after a traffic accident in the summer and it was connected to Alcorn, who is also known by the nickname Chicago. Daniel Jorge Correia de Abreu and Safiro Teixeira Furtado were the two men killed in the drive by shooting and police have seen video from a nightclub earlier that night that showed Hernandez in the same club as the two men.
